Bintony Kutsaila: CHRR staged offices' attack

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) General Secretary, Bintony Kutsaila, tells Zachimalawi that Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR) Executive Director, Undule Mwakasungula, staged the purpoted attacks on his office.

Kutsaila told Zachimalawi in Lilongwe, minutes after addressing a Press Conference at which he runged left and right into CHRR, that Mwakasungula "planned and executed " the attacks on CHRR offices, during which windows were broken into pieces, in order to gain political mileage.
Zachimalawi visited CHRR offices today around 01:30 pm and found the window that was broken by thugs who attacked the offices last week still unrepaired.
Kutsaila said DPP was not happy with CHRR's behaviour, as "it will portlay our good political party, and President Bingu wa Mutharika's government as perpetrators of human rights abuses when the truth is that Mwakasungula staged the attacks," said Kutsaila.
Mwakasungula's phone was just ringing, however, when Zachimalawi attempted to call him for his side of the story.
